The blaring mid-evening sun shone brightly upon the land, its golden rays illuminating the world with stark contrast against the deepening shadows that continued to grow ever longer as the sun neared the western hills. The air was hot, dry and still – not even a mote of sand carried on the faintest breeze disturbed the stifling heat.  The ground was even dryer, solid and baked of all moisture to the extent where deep cracks had long ago split permanently across its surface, spreading to all horizons like a vast network of webbing. Freedom of the Mungo Shadows had shrouded all his senses for what had felt like an eternity, darkness invading every part of his mind. For years he had floated in the emptiness praying for release, to taste freedom one last time. Instead all he got was pain and sorrow, and like a terrible joke he would occasionally feel or hear things. Sensations that would run through limbs once his own, now controlled by the disgusting creature that called itself Sekto.

What have I done?

Chad couldn't comprehend what had occurred. He didn't even know why he'd allowed himself to be provoked so easily, no matter how personal the Chronicler's words may have been. A few months ago, this never would have come to pass.

Revamping Oddworld Classics + New Website

:bulletblack:Oddworld Inhabitants pairs up with Just Add Water:bulletblack:
The rumor started that Oddworld had paired up with another company to produce multiple new game titles, But now it seems that they are planning and working on revamping their all ready released games (The Abe series, Munch, Stranger…). Reading up on the subject it looks like they are release the remakes on the PS3 system and possibly the vita(PSP). The HD versions of the games from what I’ve read are true to the originals, just with enhanced graphics and sounds.

Hi, everyone! i wished to join such a group for a long time. Oddworld games have been my all-time favorites (really). I found them amazing from the characters to the emote-icons, music and just every little detail in it. The uploaded pics and comics are great by the way:)

I didn't play this game when it was released, but I recently got into it thanks to Steam's offer of both Abe's Oddysee and Exoddus. Can't wait for the HD remakes.
